We proudly use earth friendly solvents and the exclusive Green Earth cleaning process. Along with recycling almost everything we use to minimize our environmental foot print.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY DRY CLEANING AND LAUNDRY ORDER WHEN I DROP IT OFF TO THE STORE FRONT?
The turn-around time for most items are 2-3 days, we also offer next day service.
HOW DO YOUR PRICES COMPARE WITH OTHER CLEANERS AND TAILORS IN THE AREA?
We are not the least, nor the most expensive, our prices are fair given the quality, service and convenience every time you visit us.
Pick up & Delivery
WHAT AREAS DO YOU DELIVER TO?
We provide regular delivery service throughout North County San Diego, including Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Encinitas, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido, Oceanside and neighboring communities.
HOW DOES PICK-UP AND DELIVERY SERVICE WORK?
We come by your home or office twice and week. You designate an area for us so you don’t have to be home or at work when we pick up and deliver your items. Your credit card is kept securely on file and gets charged per service.
IS THERE A DELIVERY FEE ON DRY CLEANING PICK-UP AND DELIVERY SERVICE?
No! Our pick-up and delivery service is FREE! We charge the same amount as our store fronts.
WHAT IF I DON’T NEED SERVICE ON MY DELIVERY DAY?
It’s ok, we are most likely in your area anyways. You can always choose to be a monthly “ON CALL” customer and you can call or text us when you want us to come by.
CAN I HAVE MY PICK-UP AND DELIVERY ORDER RUSHED?
Yes, Pleats offers NEXT DAY delivery for an additional 20% surcharge. Simply call Lou at 760-724-1600
HOW OFTEN WILL I RECEIVE SERVICE?
We will come by your home or office twice a week. Depending on your area, you will be designated on a Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Friday route. Excluding holidays.
WHAT HOLIDAYS DO YOU NOT DELIVER ON?
Delivery will NOT take place on July 4th, Easter, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK IN A CONDOMINIUM/LOFT COMPLEX?
It can vary from building to building, but generally we create a centralized pickup and delivery location within your building. An example of this would be your management office or a main floor lobby closet. Your items are picked up and delivered to this location.
CAN I GET ALTERATIONS DONE WITH MY DRY CLEANING?
Yes! Just leave us a note on what needs to be done and we’ll call you.

Alterations & Tailoring
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET SOMETHING ALTERED OR TAILORED?
The turn-around time to tailor most items is about 3- 5 days. Usually with alterations we work with your time frame- just tell us when you need it! Same day service IS available for alterations.
DO YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR TAILORING?
No, you are welcome to come in any time we are open. There is always a professional available to fit you.
DO YOU ALTER WEDDING GOWNS?
Yes, but we do require an appointment for wedding gown alterations so we can insure a specialist is available for the 30 minute fitting appointment.
HOW DOES THE TAILORING PROCESS WORK?
Bring in the shoes you plan on wearing if we are adjusting the length of your pants, skirt or dress. We have fitting rooms for you to try on your garments. We will measure and pin your garments to you. You can pay up front or pay at pick up. We will decide on your pick up date. Simple as that!
DO YOU GAURANTEE YOUR WORK?
We will make sure your garment is tailored to your satisfaction. It is always best to try on your garments at time of pick up.
